Copper Harbor Tour
The one day Copper Harbor tour will include riding to Horseshoe Harbor, which includes about a 1½ mile hike, round trip. The Missile Site, which is where Michigan launched its first missile into space, and High Rock Point, with a view of Manitou Island and one of its Light House’s. Also, we will ride to the top of Mount Houghton to enjoy a view of Lake Superior and Bete Grise Bay. Lunch will be at Lac La Bella Lodge bar/Restaurant, or we could cook hot dog over a bonfire on the trails. The return trip will include a ride to the top of Brockway Mountain which has one of the most awesome views, especially in the fall, and on a clear day you can see Isle Royal 50 miles away. All of this in the most beautiful and history rich area in the State of Michigan.
Copper Mine Tour
The Copper Mine tour is a one day tour which will include some of the Copper Harbor tour plus rides to two old Copper Mine sites, one in which you can take a tour inside the mine as well as mine for real native copper yourself. You will also learn more about the areas Copper Mining History.
Fall Color Tour
The Fall Color Tour is a one day tour which will include the Copper Harbor tour but with the most beautiful fall colors anywhere in the Midwest thru out the entire tour. You will not want to forget your camera on this trip.
Wildflower/Bog and Lighthouse Tour
The Wildflower/Bog and Light House Tour is a one day Tour that will be run near Lake Superior, North of the town of Newberry, around the Pike Lake area, which is between Paradise and Grand Marais. There are multiple Bogs and Wildflowers in the area. Bogs have some very unique Wildflowers, like Pitcher Plants. The area has many other kinds of Wildflowers too, like Orchids and Iris’s. The best time for the Wildflowers is June and July. Again you won’t want to forget your camera on this Tour. Lunch will either be at a Bar/Restaurant or over a bonfire. We will also take a trip out to the Crisp Light House which has a lot of history, and is one of the most isolated Light Houses in the State. This area is beautiful all summer long as well as in the fall with miles and miles of trails to ride.
Atlanta Adventure
The Atlanta Trail System is in the Mackinaw National Forest with over 110 miles of trails open to ATV use, making this a great place for an ATV Adventure. The Atlanta Trail System is just north of Atlanta, which is known for its Elk heard, so there is always a chance of seeing one of these awesome animals.
Bull Gap Adventure
The Bull Gap Trail System near Mio, in the Huron National Forest has 115 miles of trails, which includes the Bull Gap scramble area, with one of the biggest sand hills in the state. The Bull Gap Trail System connects to hundreds of miles of other trail systems as well, which gives the option of taking a ½ day adventure or a 1 day adventure. The Bull Gap Adventure includes ATV rental, if you don’t own your own ATV, and lodging, camping or hotel/cabin. Complete packages can be arranged to suit your preferences. The Bull Gap Trail is open year round. Winter time can be challenging with the snow and cold weather, but with fewer ATVers on the trails, it's my favorite time of year to ride. Spring time is beautiful with the wild flowers, mushrooms, and new growth. Summer time brings lots of ATVers on the trails and the trails do get a little beat up, but it’s still very exciting to be riding at the Gap. Fall is a great time as well, with the changing colors and the wild life moving around; it's always an exciting trip.
St. Helen Adventure
The St. Helen Motor Sports Area, near St. Helen, in the Ausable State Forest, encompasses over 1,260 acres or nearly two square miles of land. It is by far one of Michigan’s best kept off-road recreation secrets. The Terrain ranges from hill climbing to sand pits, fast action trails and cross country travel. This area also connects to trail systems in almost every direction which makes it possible to ride for days. You will need to bring extra gas as the nearest town you can access is Rose City, which is about a 3 to 4 hour ride.
If all these sites are not for you, and all you want to do is add up a lot of miles on an ATV that can be arranged too.
All Tours will start at 10am (unless it is a two day Adventure with overnight camping included, then the second day we will start when we get up and ready) and will last about 8 hours, so we will finish about 6pm.
